Thought Oriented Actions

Every day has pages of story to tell, every action conveys the interest of the person, every face reflects millions of experiences.  Each moment of life is accompanied with millions of body movements which are directed by the stipulated thinking process. Thousands of foot step leads to a unit of length which makes a man to walk miles. Every face reflects thousands of experiences which deliver the melancholic end of an expression. Every day is unique and different from in its dimension moreover the day seems to be shorter due to busy (flow of million thoughts within a stipulated time) and extra large due to blockage of thought process due to stagnant emotions.

The person who is at the starting point of a running race is directed by a single emotion, single thought and focused body movements which deliver the best outcome in the running race. The disintegration of the organized action may occur due to diversion of thoughts and over stress on the body movements. One can reach to the maximum only by withdrawing the mismatching thoughts and regulating the flow of action because the thoughts are delivered into action.

The over reaction to the emotions through down into depression which is unappealing to the normal way of behaviour. As long as one travel to the extremes of a thought, the intensity of unwanted thoughts frozen the active mind.

NB: Each images in this write up conveys a lot of expression, flow of thoughts, body movements, focused action, extremes of diversion of minds and an unanticipated outcome. Watch closely and know the movement…….

Life is like a bicycle; to have a balance, you need to keep moving – Albert Einstein

Success is the milestones which everyone aspires to acquire. In order to be successful in life, one needs to inculcate the value based ingredients in life. The righteousness, strong determination and unending hard work convert you as a successful man in life. Success is like a tree in which the roots are strongly bounded in the earth and the branches are raising its hands towards the sky. A man becomes successful with proper direction in terms of their perception, understanding and attitude which pave way for different dimensions to reach the goal. The action oriented skill setting and well defined planning directs a man into successful completion of the action. Opportunities knock your door rarely but the utmost need to impress people with primary actions is realistic.

Accomplishing success is not an easy task, heartfelt realities and painful experience accompany on your way to success. While occurring these hardships and criticism from strangers and most loved ones, the strong passion and dedication to your work help you to choose if need to walk forward or go back to preconditioned setting. Tremendous experiments and proper allocation of time attract us to choose the best skill set to be perfect and succeed in real time. Self-love, respect and celebration of each life moment procure the best feelings of succession in every action in life.

“Live as you are going to die tomorrow, Learn as you were going to live forever”. M K Gandhi

Blog concept by
 Lovedale child Devraj
Human beings are the greatest living beings to learn and live well in every extreme condition by fitting themselves and adapting the source from it.  Learning is everything as multiple things can happen in each aspect life that would make them live under any circumstances. Lot of learning happen daily through observation, understanding and become masters of certain knowledge. The process of learning or understanding may be small or big but the optimal use of knowledge for a result oriented task is significance for over all round development of a conscious body or mind which can be measured with the speed and accuracy of the task result.

The theory of gravity was discovered by Newton by observing the fall of an apple from a tree. The people with search for reason and quick response to the veiling concepts often derive into a new theory though several people have observed the fall of an apple from the tree. Reasoning is the flower that blooms but never dies. Enthusiastic people in learning pave way for others and support them with a broader outlook towards everything. The greatest value in learning is to make other understand your concept, so that the learner becomes either your follower or a thinker with diverse understanding of the same concept. Giving and receiving are the two sides of same coin; learning broadens a person’s understanding but sharing delivers a platform to think tank. Therefore, let’s become a good learner by sharing our thoughts with others and make the world a better place to live.

‘Power to Change’

Every action has a subordinate reaction and the reaction is caused by a proper reason. Man has been identified as a reasonable being which separate them from all the living beings. But often I feel like man can be called as affective animal with the very fact that the reasonable actions are carried out with a feeling or emotion. Whereas an animal like cat is sensible at the same time affective. For example, when it drinks the milk from the kitchen it observes the surroundings and people at home and it also shows its affection by crying, rolling around, stretching its nails and attacking the enemy. But cat doesn’t think as much as a man think and act, it produce automatic response to save/escape from the danger. Where as a man who is in danger thinks several ways to escape with his untold ideas to protect himself and save the body from harms.

The sun, which gives light to the whole world, thinks of why does it shed light to the world, still it continues because sun knows the purpose of its life is to give light to the world and enjoy doing that. A person can’t focus on two different directions at a time with the very reason that, man should focus either to the positive or negative aspects.

Every individual has the ‘Power to Change’. A little effort to move the big mountain can demolish all obstacles before you, only with the strong heart to achieve it. Everyone can become a change maker with the little heart and a thought to inspire many with a practical reason for a cause. I never ask you to customize yourself to engage in any of the actions you were never heard or seen, practice the little things in your pure heart with a right reason to make the maximum.

Wise men say, right person, at the right time with the right decision makes the actions successful but the destiny is, these three are in different direction and rarely meet each other. In order to make the most effective and memorable action in life, start making sustainable plans which remains in the world even after you wash out. One can live in good memories in the minds of others with the strong start up and structured reasons, then the whole world will follow you with the right spirit.
If you wish to make a memorable living in the hearts of others, get in touch with us to sponsor a child or take care of the educational expense of a child, your little effort will be ever valued and recognized by many.

Live with passion

The purpose of life is to achieve the maximum with limited skills. The passion in each person justifies the reason for every action and the outcome reflects the action carried to attain the passion. The unmemorable acts nourish a person’s thought to do even better with the prior experience.

Everyone has a strong passion for something in their life and often the weak passion is lived by them, which paralyze the will of a person to act or react to the situation but the strong passion urges for strong and focused actions. Such strong passion inspire oneself and others to carryout multiple factor activities in the realm of mind.

Passion is present in our day today life. If we could take a ‘Slice of Life’ which caters the best moments of life and BOTTLE THEM to recap the golden memories with a melancholic smile on face during the crisis situations. If these miserable situations could overtook with the reflection of ‘Bottled memories’, which would definitely brings back the passion to ‘Be the Best’ of all.

During the Annual Sports day at Banyan Community School, the enthusiasm of each team member in appreciating and encouraging the fellow players in striving for the success was with the best effort. The passion of each students who had least opportunities to grow and develop athletic characters in their life situation had an internal passion to explode the maximum during each competition. The quick thoughts invoke the spirit into action and show off the talent of the students. The annual sports day was an occasion to understand the energy, creativity and passion in participating and taking the team with spirit and fun. They are a role model for each one of us to encounter all the situations with hardcore Passion and Action.

Inspire and be inspired

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, and to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well. — Ralph Waldo Emerson

While I was reading through few feedbacks from the volunteers from a renowned college, few insights strike me, though not shocking. The comments were on the level of satisfaction after undertaking the social responsibility project and the enthusiasm to continue the support programs through other non-profit or voluntary organization. The first experience has made an impact in the thoughts of young vibrant youth.

While we focus a lot on self-improvement, it keeps inspiring me, an important part of living is to be happy and fulfilling life includes being part of close-mend community actions where you can share, help and support people you care about. It also includes being kind to strangers, and learning to replace desire and anger with understanding and empathy. While rendering service to others, the inter personal inclination that exist in each one of us awakes in to endow with service to others.

It’s easy to get so wrapped up in fixing your own life that you forget about helping others. And while it’s important to put yourself first sometimes, it’s even more important to help others whenever you can.

Being generous isn't even always about humanity – becoming more generous and compassionate will have real tangible benefits in your own life. While serving others with your little support, spending time with them, sharing the ideas and knowledge, one not only growing brighter and higher but taking others along with their journey.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind

When the children from stone quarries started coming to Banyan Community School, 70% of children found under weight and low energy during school activities. The school management identified that it was because they were not having enough nutritious food from family. As the parent’s leaves for work early in the morning and returns to quarry at the sunset, the children’s nutritional needs are not properly taken care. The low earning capacity of parents also affected the three time meals of the family. Moreover the alcoholic habit of parents after the long hours of work in stone quarry left nothing behind for them to save for the next day. Therefore the children will not get sufficient food and later the child turns into malnourished.

When we started the Banyan School project, we understood the need to provide nutritious supplements to children. The supply of nutrition powder improved the health of each child day by day and the outcome was monitored through monthly health check up. We have also experienced that more number of children are tend to be present on every Mondays because they are getting proper nutritious diet after two days of leave.

During the initial monthly health check-ups at school, doctors diagnosed that there is huge numbers of children are malnourished. Now, we are proud to say that after the continuous nutritional support, all the children at Banyan Community School are free from malnourishment. We are maintaining a health chart for each child so that the growth and their needs are easily identified.

Lovedale Foundation focused to provide multidisciplinary approach to the children from vulnerable background. We are not only concentrating education but the holistic development of the children. Quarterly parents meetings and individual counselling programs are organized with the help of professionals and like-minded volunteers, and clarified the doubts of each parents and encourage them to continue their support in sending their children to school.

Act on your thought

The realistic and unrealistic aspirations of a man can’t be calculated with the current measurable units. The hope and aspirations are two important aspects of every human being. Each individual is brought up with lots of hope and desires, few are partially and the rest is justifiable achieved, but the aspirations always grown with the person as he/she moves forward in the life journey.

The person with realistic and undefeatable power may fail to reach his/her hope due to lack of execution of thoughts or ideas with the current system. The anonymous capacities of each human being is explored at the peak point of defeat and the enthusiasm to executive the final thought needs a lot of energy.

People with a growth mindset believe that their intelligence, talents and abilities are not fixed at birth, but instead can be developed over time through hard work and dedication. The students at Banyan Community School have the capacity to reach to the maximum with the limited amenities provided

When Gandhiji had a vision of a free India, he did not follow a step-by-step business plan. When Martin Luther King believed in a world with no discrimination, he did not stop his work because of the worry of financial sustainability. I would argue that if they did not combine great management with a huge, huge sense of possibility – with a gigantic leap of faith – with the belief that together with their people, they would get there – that they may never have.”

Lovedale Foundation provides an opportunity to change the ground reality and to bring out the inspiring leadership of each child through a systematic give and take learning process.

If you are an idealistic, passionate, smart and tenacious person, who loves your society dearly and wants to be a part of finding a solution for the current situations and want to create a revolution, you can be part of Lovedale Foundation to fight against the poverty, illiteracy, malnourishment and exploitation of innocent lives.

Opportunity Never Knocks the Door.

The mind is a blank document, each lines are written by our expertise, thoughts and desires. Few lines may be erased and extra thoughts are added in the margins of previous pages with random experiences. The thought process that takes place in the human mind within a fraction of seconds, but the ability to execute the thoughts may take a while. The action is depends upon the quick response of the body to the desired action.

We gained expertise through knowledge, observation and proper understanding of the reality and the world around us. Innovative thoughts were never existed, the ideas were derived through a careful and systematic understanding of the outcome and dynamic execution of the thought.

The students at Banyan Community School are vibrant, innovative and thoughtful in all the aspects of life. The value added skill development programs and life skill education develop an understanding of the current behaviour and action among the society.

The students are blessed with the innovative ideas and ability to express. But, they lack with the platform to express it to a larger audience due to financial constrains and under privileged background. The students have a capacity to utilize the maximum opportunities within school with the help of volunteers and committed staffs. The opportunities never knocks the door, the doors of Banyan School students are always open for the opportunities.

As an entrepreneur, business man or working in any streams of work, if you find any opportunity for the school going children, please contact us in 080-65908001 / info@lovedalefoundation.org

Small World, Big Thinking

I doubt if God has made a mistake at the time of his creation because he has created small earth for the people with big thinking. The earth could have been the biggest among all the planets and the star, then the place where the human being exist could have become similar to the thinking capacities of the people.

Every man has a positive energy that transfers to another person while discussing, interacting and sharing the ideas. The individual with limited skill also has a kind ‘Heart’ which empowers the lives of many through personal or joined efforts. God has made very different kind of heart to each one of us to express the affection towards others. The affections such as love, care, empathy and concern for the fellow being is expressed by people completely different from person to person. That may be the reason; no scientist could define a unit to measure the heart of human being. The heart is like a sky which stretches as much as it can and withdraws to a size of human brain.

There is a huge gap between the nomadic way of life style to the so called ‘3rd Generation’ which was evolved due to the high thinking capabilities of many intelligent people whose thoughts and ideas can never me measured. A person at the age of 10 can imagine a life of teenager and an old age man can reflect his/her childhood for hours if he/she loves to go back to the old memories.

The children at Banyan Community School are coming from very poor family background of uneducated parents, life of poverty strikes, unskilled parents, migrants and unstructured family life. After joining the Banyan Community School, the children started to travel ahead of their times and age. They aspire to become someone who is a role model for the upcoming generation or create a land mark in their life by achieving a successful career. Unfortunately, there is a huge gap to reach to their destination due to financial crisis and lack of support from the parents. Each one of us can build a stepping stone for them through our supports and extended hands.

Now I realize, God is the master mind of all of us by creating small human beings with a heart which can enlarge according to the convenience of each one of us. The control of our heart is in our hand, the decision has to be made in enlarging or shrinking in the small brains of each one of us.

If not now, then when, if not here, then where, if not me then who???

Under the Shades of Banyan Community School

The concept of four walls, long verandas, timely intervals and play grounds will be an ever cherishing memory in the minds of anyone. The “Best Moments of life” quoted by many who are even at the edges of death loves to sip the school days for a moment. The stories of school life never end as long as the generations continues in the world. Each chair in the school has got a long story to tell the world, the stories of fun. Joy, anger, pain and friendship.  There were moments to run away from the school, skip the classes, copy the assignments of the friends, steal the book of friends, share the lunch with the best friends, and to imitate the class teacher, but none of us can act as the same with the fame we earned, the money we allocated, the status we build in the society.

The children from Anagalpura village start experiencing the prescribed school life after the establishment of Banyan Community High School at Anagalpura, which is focused on providing quality education to the under privileged and orphans children. The origin of Banyan Community School made them realize the value of education, structured life style, systematic learning environment and holistic development of each child.

The school makes necessary arrangements for a child to have a healthy and strong childhood through monthly health check up campaigns, 3 times meals such as morning snacks and nutrition drink, midday meal and evening snacks to make the child active throughout the day. Team Lovedale Foundation know the value of each bowl of rice provided to the children and the needy population at school. The smile over take the hunger of a child when he or she arrives at Banyan Community School, it looks after each and every child under the shades of Banyan.  There is no discrimination on the grounds of caste, creed, religion or race, all are equally valued and respected as the leaves of its branches.

New thoughts for tomorrow

Wish You All a Happy New Year

The year begins with lots of hopes, enthusiasm, and energy to do better in this New Year. The dreams are higher than the sky, and the aspirations are longer than a sea, and the thoughts are flying around the head like an eagle, looking for a new opportunity to explore and to choose a right path.

A small reflection of the previous year convinces us that the life was so simple and happier but the thoughts were inappropriate, above one’s own capacity and unwanted. A new calendar does not change our thoughts attitude or behaviour but a new resolution or a new concept that derived from the reflection of the previous year can actually boost your life. It may be a simple thought, an inspirational personality, an incident, a word or an action by somebody could take you to the extremes of realities of life and make you a better person for the family and your society.

Human minds always stuck with the actions done in the past either good or bad, but the memories hunt him/her for a longer duration till he finds another which is similar to it. It is because of the attachment one has towards the person, thing or an action.  Few people strive to forget things by doing extra ordinary things to cover the old memories and fill the short term memory with love, fun and joy. But for every action, there is a seen or hidden result which may not be noticed by us always.
You might have experienced few incidents like your old friends meet you after a long time, whom you may not even recognize easily, but they hold on your shoulder and say, “You had helped me at that day, at that situation”. I’m sure it must be the best moment you ever have in your life time.

I would like to thank all the well wishers of Lovedale Foundation for your valuable time, space, contributions and concern for the under privileged children. I’m sure each one of you will have a moment of joy for the support rendered to us and the smiles you created in the faces of little kids at Banyan Community School. You might have forgot the day you visited Banyan Community School but the time you spent with them, the games you played with them, the things you taught them will be always fresh in their memory and to recall at any point of time to say ‘Thank You’ to all. Let this new year open the wings to achieve all your aspirations and dreams by the grace of Him.

Deeds of Giving are Your chance to Build a Life.

Education, a lifeline and a back bone for our future Lives. Have we ever imagined if we weren't educated, what will be our lives? A moment when we can’t even spell our names too. Irony is that, we can’t even think of it. Our Bread and butter is based upon something which millions of children are striving for daily. There is nothing greater than spreading happiness and making future of someone. Here is a school, which provide not only free education to orphan children but also build their right personality. There are many school out there providing the same, but the difference Banyan community school gives is the right and healthy atmosphere for every child.
Banyan Community School provides children not only education but also solid foundation for a successful future for the entire family, but also translates into the development of communities over time.
The villagers find solace in simply-constructed structures that serve as schools. Learning in open spaces, in the fields, under the trees, these schools have help to bring communities together and allowed them to dream of a life they would want for their children. This unity enables continual development and expansion of communities thus helping to bring them closer to achieve better life and to create a self-sustaining tribal community. The continual development and expansion brings communities closer towards achieving a better life and creating a self-sustaining tribal community.
“We measure education not only through academic performance but also through the overall success and satisfaction of the individual. Our holistic approach aims to develop children to excel in all aspects of life – socially, psychologically and materially. The methodology promotes cognitive, physical, emotional, social and spiritual growth, thus leading to an education that is complete” said the Principal.
Looking at the recent figures, in about 20 million children, about 4% of their population in India and higher than people living in Delhi, are orphan. Of them, parents of only 0.3% children have died and rest have been abandoned. The figure is result of a study done by analyzing data from National Family Health Survey-3 for the year 2005-06 and the population estimation by the Census of India to find the dark spots for children below the age of 18 in India.
But what the study highlight is that a large number of children in India struggle to survive leave alone having access to education and other welfare measures. Some of these children end up being trafficked or pushed into illegal works. Many of the children who are trafficked are those whose parents have died or they have been abandoned.
Street children in India may be homeless because their family is homeless through poverty or migration, or because they have been abandoned, orphaned or have run away. It is not unusual to see whole families living on the sidewalks of Bangalore, or rows of individual children sleeping around the railway station.
Homeless children have the odds stacked against them. They are exposed to the elements, have an uncertain supply of food, are likely miss out on education and medical treatment, and are at high risk of suffering addiction, abuse and illness. A single child alone on the streets is especially vulnerable.
"The purpose of the Banyan school is for students to learn about a part of life they would not find in their textbook," explained faculty. "We wanted to make studies more interesting and give students a richer understanding of what was happening during the time period we were studying. This project went beyond the textbook; we were able to bring in real life experiences and to interact with other classes."
Poverty is the prime cause of the street children crisis. Children from well-off families do not need to work, or beg. They live in houses, eat well, go to school, and are likely to be healthy and emotionally secure.Poverty dumps a crowd of problems onto a child. Not only do these problems cause suffering, but they also conspire to keep the child poor throughout his/her life. In order to survive, a poor child in India will probably be forced to sacrifice education and training; without skills the child will, as an adult, remain at the bottom of the economic heap.
In Banyan Community School, students are encouraged to broaden their vision and deepen their roots by appreciating their own cultural heritage as well as that of other nations. They are provided with modern tools as well as the moral and spiritual strength needed to face the challenges of modern day living.
About Banyan Community School
As a non-profit organization, we are looking for a connectivity to the normal public. Our core project is the Banyan Community School through which we are providing free education to 350 children from stone quarries and orphanages. The main focus of the article can be on the free ducation and the quality of education we provide to the children in international standards. The school also provides midday meal, supplementary nutrition powder and monthly health check up, skill development programs for a sustainable living once they come out of Banyan Community School.

Hopes of tomorrow

The lovely winter awoke from a long sleep
And widens its wings to the whole world
With a freezing cold and a tiny rays
To bring hope for better tomorrow

She smiles with cold tears,
Sings with chilled heart
And the melody strike into the heart
And embraces with a warmth of love

The days moves as fast as it can
To change the lives of many
And to module a new life
With the kind gentle hearts

The day is too short
With the glazing little moon
Which gives a hope for many
Even under the dark shadows

There is no tiredness
There are no plans for tomorrow
But the wheels of winter moves fast
To achieve the highest glory in the near future

Why are we alone?

I am not passionate about why these many kids are know by the name ‘ORPHAN’ but I am doubtful about the treatment of these children in the society. Every day the numbers of orphanages, the enrolment in orphanages are increasing, along with the reasons to be an orphan. Is it because of their destiny or are they born to be orphan? Would they be ready to born if they are aware of the fact that they are gonna be called as ‘ORPHANS’ throughout their life?

When I write this article, many stories glimpse in my mind about the stories I heard from different people and experienced the life situations of many. ‘Parents are always a blessing for one who do not have any and often children who hesitate to listen to the parents are mostly feel like, why can’t they be bit more soft to me unlike my friends parents.

Unlike any other child, few qualities I observed from the children are, they are adjustable to any harsh and soft situations and have the will power to face any difficulties. As an individual we can provide everything such as accommodation, comfortness, living facilities but not a ‘Father or Mother.

As kind hearted individuals like us can have an attitude of support, care and love and openness to accept who they are and what they are and willingness to support them to brings more life to our ‘Happy Life’.

The real heroes

http://youtu.be/jEdvGy5M6GY

Smile - many words, many expressions, many interpretations, many faces but only one feeling. Anybody can become a hero, millionaire, celebrity but the real heroes always stand behind the Curtain. We all are born to meet a purpose drawn by Him, few of us serve it gently, others make it their way and few of them go against it. But the inborn potentials remains within them to do justice to  the work. When you feel to lift your single finger to help a person, your heart prepares you to carry him, when you feel to give some thing to a man, your mind prepares you to buy something, or search your pocket for few coins, when you handover a things to a needy person do not stop your heart to think further more for a second donation. The moment you feel that you have done your duty, you are unknowingly becoming blind to many things in the world. It can be affection, sadness, love and belongingness. Your gentle touch, presence for a moment or a small amount of money can make a huge difference in the lives of many. Wen you complain about one thing, there would be people sitting with zero's and smiling at their problems. It's difficult for a person to laugh at his failure or loss and make others smile, because each human beings are born with limited capacities. But the smile you made on an unknown person may not be recognized by many but a single smile conveys a lot.

If you agree with my thoughts, share this with your friends, if not, comment your views, and let the world know different interpretations for 'smile'.

“For now I ask no more than the justice of eating”

The primary purpose of each human being striving to be employed, achieve, earn and saving is to survive without hunger throughout the life. Each time I hold a spicy, crispy, tasty burger and chew it under the air conditioned restaurant, i forget all the tension for a moment and relax myself. It’s not only in burger, any food i love to eat gives a lot of relaxation. How about a moment we are stuck with huge targets and running behind the complexities of career achievement during lunch time? Do you ever felt that you haven’t done justice to yourself?
For many, the hunger enters into their life as an uninvited guest who screw them top to bottom and not letting them to have even a free of thought. A silent tragedy continues to play out in many homes and streets in our country about 200 million go to bed with empty stomach. In Anagalpura village also, the situation is same. The parents fight hard to the strong, thick stones, breaking them into pieces and carrying them on their shoulders. They know the real value of each coin that they get after working in the heavy sun. The sun loots their energy, hopes and enthusiasm and push them down to earth at the end of each day. At the dawn, they still awake before the sun enters into their eyes and start to fight with stones again. The ultimate reason is to see the smile on their kids face and embrace them with a plate of meal every day.

The Feed The Children program began in the year 2004 by Lovedale Foundation to abolish the cycle of poverty in Anagalpura. The program was piloted in Banyan Community School where free education is guaranteed to the children from marginalized, abandoned, under privileged and destitute in Anagalpura village. FTC program had a positive impact in selective cases (e.g., enhancing enrolment, attendance and lowering drop out of students) which are essential for achieving the higher level of academic performance of students particularly belongs to BPL level students residing in the rural areas in the state of Karnataka. The program allows the students to fill their tiny stomachs with tasty food and snacks without fail. The school provides three times meal in a day including nutrition drink, lunch and snacks to abolish the cycle of poverty and encourage them to avail the free education.
At the beginning of every week, the retention was very high due to the empty stomach at weekends and it forces them to reach school at the earliest. Furthermore, FTC program has some other benefits like removal of classroom hunger, social and gender equality and formation of good habits of students (like washing their own hands and utensils before meal ) other than academic achievement in school. But in order to get satisfactory outcomes, FTC program should be incorporated with the ongoing health awareness programs across our project centers. We indeed require adequate support from    individuals and corporates for the sustainability of this program to expand it to other states in the country.
