Opportunity Never Knocks the Door.

The mind is a blank document, each lines are written by our expertise, thoughts and desires. Few lines may be erased and extra thoughts are added in the margins of previous pages with random experiences. The thought process that takes place in the human mind within a fraction of seconds, but the ability to execute the thoughts may take a while. The action is depends upon the quick response of the body to the desired action.

We gained expertise through knowledge, observation and proper understanding of the reality and the world around us. Innovative thoughts were never existed, the ideas were derived through a careful and systematic understanding of the outcome and dynamic execution of the thought.

The students at Banyan Community School are vibrant, innovative and thoughtful in all the aspects of life. The value added skill development programs and life skill education develop an understanding of the current behaviour and action among the society.

The students are blessed with the innovative ideas and ability to express. But, they lack with the platform to express it to a larger audience due to financial constrains and under privileged background. The students have a capacity to utilize the maximum opportunities within school with the help of volunteers and committed staffs. The opportunities never knocks the door, the doors of Banyan School students are always open for the opportunities.

As an entrepreneur, business man or working in any streams of work, if you find any opportunity for the school going children, please contact us in 080-65908001 / info@lovedalefoundation.org

Small World, Big Thinking

I doubt if God has made a mistake at the time of his creation because he has created small earth for the people with big thinking. The earth could have been the biggest among all the planets and the star, then the place where the human being exist could have become similar to the thinking capacities of the people.

Every man has a positive energy that transfers to another person while discussing, interacting and sharing the ideas. The individual with limited skill also has a kind ‘Heart’ which empowers the lives of many through personal or joined efforts. God has made very different kind of heart to each one of us to express the affection towards others. The affections such as love, care, empathy and concern for the fellow being is expressed by people completely different from person to person. That may be the reason; no scientist could define a unit to measure the heart of human being. The heart is like a sky which stretches as much as it can and withdraws to a size of human brain.

There is a huge gap between the nomadic way of life style to the so called ‘3rd Generation’ which was evolved due to the high thinking capabilities of many intelligent people whose thoughts and ideas can never me measured. A person at the age of 10 can imagine a life of teenager and an old age man can reflect his/her childhood for hours if he/she loves to go back to the old memories.

The children at Banyan Community School are coming from very poor family background of uneducated parents, life of poverty strikes, unskilled parents, migrants and unstructured family life. After joining the Banyan Community School, the children started to travel ahead of their times and age. They aspire to become someone who is a role model for the upcoming generation or create a land mark in their life by achieving a successful career. Unfortunately, there is a huge gap to reach to their destination due to financial crisis and lack of support from the parents. Each one of us can build a stepping stone for them through our supports and extended hands.

Now I realize, God is the master mind of all of us by creating small human beings with a heart which can enlarge according to the convenience of each one of us. The control of our heart is in our hand, the decision has to be made in enlarging or shrinking in the small brains of each one of us.

If not now, then when, if not here, then where, if not me then who???

Under the Shades of Banyan Community School

The concept of four walls, long verandas, timely intervals and play grounds will be an ever cherishing memory in the minds of anyone. The “Best Moments of life” quoted by many who are even at the edges of death loves to sip the school days for a moment. The stories of school life never end as long as the generations continues in the world. Each chair in the school has got a long story to tell the world, the stories of fun. Joy, anger, pain and friendship.  There were moments to run away from the school, skip the classes, copy the assignments of the friends, steal the book of friends, share the lunch with the best friends, and to imitate the class teacher, but none of us can act as the same with the fame we earned, the money we allocated, the status we build in the society.

The children from Anagalpura village start experiencing the prescribed school life after the establishment of Banyan Community High School at Anagalpura, which is focused on providing quality education to the under privileged and orphans children. The origin of Banyan Community School made them realize the value of education, structured life style, systematic learning environment and holistic development of each child.

The school makes necessary arrangements for a child to have a healthy and strong childhood through monthly health check up campaigns, 3 times meals such as morning snacks and nutrition drink, midday meal and evening snacks to make the child active throughout the day. Team Lovedale Foundation know the value of each bowl of rice provided to the children and the needy population at school. The smile over take the hunger of a child when he or she arrives at Banyan Community School, it looks after each and every child under the shades of Banyan.  There is no discrimination on the grounds of caste, creed, religion or race, all are equally valued and respected as the leaves of its branches.

New thoughts for tomorrow

Wish You All a Happy New Year

The year begins with lots of hopes, enthusiasm, and energy to do better in this New Year. The dreams are higher than the sky, and the aspirations are longer than a sea, and the thoughts are flying around the head like an eagle, looking for a new opportunity to explore and to choose a right path.

A small reflection of the previous year convinces us that the life was so simple and happier but the thoughts were inappropriate, above one’s own capacity and unwanted. A new calendar does not change our thoughts attitude or behaviour but a new resolution or a new concept that derived from the reflection of the previous year can actually boost your life. It may be a simple thought, an inspirational personality, an incident, a word or an action by somebody could take you to the extremes of realities of life and make you a better person for the family and your society.

Human minds always stuck with the actions done in the past either good or bad, but the memories hunt him/her for a longer duration till he finds another which is similar to it. It is because of the attachment one has towards the person, thing or an action.  Few people strive to forget things by doing extra ordinary things to cover the old memories and fill the short term memory with love, fun and joy. But for every action, there is a seen or hidden result which may not be noticed by us always.
You might have experienced few incidents like your old friends meet you after a long time, whom you may not even recognize easily, but they hold on your shoulder and say, “You had helped me at that day, at that situation”. I’m sure it must be the best moment you ever have in your life time.

I would like to thank all the well wishers of Lovedale Foundation for your valuable time, space, contributions and concern for the under privileged children. I’m sure each one of you will have a moment of joy for the support rendered to us and the smiles you created in the faces of little kids at Banyan Community School. You might have forgot the day you visited Banyan Community School but the time you spent with them, the games you played with them, the things you taught them will be always fresh in their memory and to recall at any point of time to say ‘Thank You’ to all. Let this new year open the wings to achieve all your aspirations and dreams by the grace of Him.
